Photoperiodic control of seasonal activity in the snail Helix aspersa Müller

Abstract

The brown garden snail (Helix aspersa Müller) has a photoperiodic control of its seasonal activity. This study shows that photoperiodic has a significant effect on the intensity of two parameters of activity : growth of youngs and reproduction of adults.
