Open Access Policy

INRAE Productions Animales grants an immediate open-access to the published papers without publication costs for the authors, based on the principle that making scientific results freely available to the widest possible audience helps sharing knowledge and contributes to a better world.

1. Authors retain copyright and grant the journal right of first publication of their work. That allows others to share the work with an acknowledgement of the work's authorship and initial publication in this journal.

2. The articles of the journal are published under the Creative Commons license (CC BY 4.0) which allows sharing and adapting the published material. The citation and use of all or part of the contents of this article must obligatorily mention the authors, the year of publication, the title, the name of the journal, the volume, the pages and the DOI of the article.

3. Authors are permitted and encouraged to post their work online (e.g., in institutional repositories like HAL or on their website) prior to and during the submission process, as it can lead to productive exchanges, as well as earlier and greater citation of published work.
